Big Game Battle

The Friends of Jack Foundations runs several programs that greatly improve the quality of life of children living on the South Coast of Massachusetts, including gateway cities New Bedford and Fall River, and in greater Providence, Rhode Island. With the support of funds raised through the Big Game Battle, we will be able to positively impact more children in these areas of need. Our services are available to all children, regardless of race, citizenship or socio-economic status.

In particular, we will use money raised to help fund our recent commitment of $280,000 to the Child Life Specialist program at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford over the next three years. The grant enables Southcoast Health to provide 100 hours of Child Life Specialist coverage per week, with the goal to have a Child Life Specialist available around the clock, 24/7.
